Dimitar Hristov joined GeoWealth, in 2002, as a portfolio manager and investment strategist. He has since served as a key member of the firm’s Investment Management Committee, evaluating private-equity opportunities and designing systematic-investment strategies; while leading business development of GeoWealth’s Turnkey Asset Management Platform. Prior, Dimitar worked as a portfolio manager at O’Shaughnessy Capital Management/NetFolio, where he designed – and implemented – investment strategies for institutional and individual clients, with $1.5 billion in assets, under management. Before O’Shaughnessy, Dimitar worked at First Princeton Asset Management, as an assistant portfolio manager, conducting investment research for the firm’s client portfolios – with approximately $300 million in assets – under management. In 1998, Dimitar was part of Merrill Lynch & Co.’s investment-strategy team, in New York City, covering Emerging Markets/Latin America. Dimitar, who has passed Level I of the CFA exam, also obtained a B.S. in finance, with a minor in mathematics, from Rutgers University, School of Business. He is married, with a six-year-old daughter.
